Can you support participants with both physical and mental health needs?

Yes, we can—and we do. Our team has a strong background in both general nursing and mental health nursing, which means we’re well-placed to support participants with dual diagnoses as per your individualised Care Plan.

We take a holistic approach and work closely with other professionals, such as GPs, OTs, and mental health specialists, to ensure your care plan is well-rounded and responsive. Our aim is to make sure you feel heard, supported, and empowered—no matter what your support needs involve.

Culturally appropriate care starts with listening. We take time to understand each participant’s background, beliefs, and preferences so we can offer support that genuinely respects who they are. 

Our team includes people with diverse cultural experiences and training in culturally safe practices. We ask questions respectfully, avoid assumptions, and tailor services to ensure participants feel understood and respected. Whether it’s language, food preferences, family involvement, or cultural customs around care, we make the effort to provide support that aligns with each participant’s values.

Absolutely. While we aren’t NDIS planners, we do have a solid understanding of how the system works and can help you make sense of your plan, budget, and funding categories. We can work with your Support Coordinator (or help you connect with one) and explain what services are available and how to get the most from your plan. Yes, we provide services across weekends and public holidays, depending on the needs and preferences of the participant. We understand that support needs don’t stop during the holidays, and we do our best to maintain consistency and availability. If you have specific support requirements outside of regular hours, we can plan for this in your schedule.

Our directors alone bring over 15 years of experience in general nursing, mental health, aged care, social work, and community health. Our wider team includes professionals who are trained and experienced in providing person-centred, culturally appropriate care in home and community settings. 

Staff receive ongoing training and support, and we only work with people who are genuinely committed to high-quality care.
